Spaciousness

Crowding is out in this library! The new library is averaging about 400 people a day, and we haven't even advertised that we're open. We're going to see a massive jump in numbers come Monday after our Grand Opening.
The Grand Opening is Saturday, May 2nd. Here's the lineup:

11:30 a.m. -- Ribbon Cutting and Balloon Release
12:00 p.m. -- Library Opens to the Public -- Refreshments and John Earl and His Boogieman Band (live blues)
2:00 p.m. Bob Massi -- Fox News Legal Analyst and Attorney Present's Sink or Swim (about how to survive in the new economy)
3:00 p.m. Computer Class, Storytimes.

Soft Opening Today!

Our soft opening is today! Our staff spent last week getting ready for today and our grand re-opening on May 2. Be sure to stop in and say hi! Check our some of our pictures from last week.

Green Valley Update

As our opening day approaches I wanted to give you an update on what's going on inside the library:

• Our seating area in the rotunda has been set





• We placed tax extension forms outside on Wednesday for anyone who needed one.

New Service Desk

Our Service Desk was installed today. The desk will have staff from the circulation, reference, and youth services departments available to serve you!

Clases de computación para adultos

Estamos muy entusiasmados aquí en La biblioteca de Green Valley en Henderson por dos razones.

La primera y más importante razón es que poco a poquito estamos preparando para la gran inauguración los últimos días en Abril o tal vez los primer días en Mayo, el día todavía no es oficial.

La segundo razón es que vamos ofrecer clases de computación en español para el público. Las clases van hacer regularmente una vez a la semana y todas van hacer completamente gratis.

Es necesario registrarse a las clases para poder acudir. Puede registrar por la computador nomas visite www.mypubliclibrary.com busque en el calendario de eventos o venga a registrase en persona a cual quiera de nuestra bibliotecas.
Vamos ofrecer clases de principiantes intermedió y Microsoft Word.

Venga y experiencia lo que ofrecemos gratis. Estamos aquí para servir nuestra comunidad.
