Storytelling with Joe Hayes

Joe Hayes, an acclaimed author and multi award-winning storyteller, helped us say goodbye to the Summer Reading Program here at Green Valley Library. As the SRP drew to an end, his lively folktales sparked the imagination of all who were lucky enough to hear. His engaging stories incorporate both English and Spanish to portray a unique aspect of traditional Southwestern culture. At the program, children and adults alike were engaged from the moment he began the first story. Thank you Mr. Hayes for sharing your talent and bringing us all closer to the native cultures of the area in which we live!
