HELP of Southern Nevada launched a food drive campaign for Thanksgiving. 1,000 families are expected to receive a turkey and all the trimmings needed for a Thanksgiving meal. Donations will be accepted now through November 19. Non-perishable items can be dropped off at the Green Valley Library.
HELP of Southern Nevada assist over 68,000 low-income families and individuals to become more self-sufficient through direct services, trainings and referrals. Programs available include: social services, weatherization, community alternative sentencing, work opportunities readiness center, holiday assistance, Nevada 211 call center, and homeless and youth services.
