We offer two types of digital books: Audiobooks and eBooks. An audiobook is a recorded reading of a book that can be enjoyed on a Windows or Mac computer and transferred to supported devices. You can also burn many titles to CD to enjoy in the car. An eBook is a text-based title that can be read on your Windows or Mac computer, Smartphone, Palm OS device, or PocketPC. Digital music and video can be downloaded to a personal PC and enjoyed at home or transferred to supported devices.
How it Works
Simply install the free software from our “Virtual Branch” website, then browse the collection of bestselling and classic fiction and non-fiction. You can check out titles using your library card and download to a home computer or laptop. At the end of the lending period, titles automatically expire and are returned to the collection. There are no late fees!
